RENÉE Cosmetics, advanced manufacturing startup Ethereal Machines, home décor brand Trampoline and EV component supplier Indigrid Technology have raised fresh capital.
RENÉE Cosmetics raises $12m
RENÉE Cosmetics, a new-age beauty brand, has raised $12 million in its Series B round led by existing investors Evolvence India and Edelweiss Group.
The latest round values the firm at Rs 1,200-1,400 crore. With this, the firm has raised about $45 million to date.
“We want to increase our omnichannel presence as we are poised to become a leading force in the Indian beauty industry and a global symbol of inclusivity and innovation,” RENÉE co-founder Priyank Shah said.
Founded by TV actress Aashka Goradia Goble, RENÉE Cosmetics has over 200 products in its beauty and perfume divisions portfolio.
Ethereal Machines snags $13m co-led by Peak XV
Advanced manufacturing startup Ethereal Machines has raised $13 million in a Series A round led by Peak XV Partners and Steadview Capital.
Existing investors Blume Ventures, Enam Investments, and Sandeep Singhal also participated in this round.
The startup has seen a 4x increase in revenue and a 3x increase in production capacity in the last 12 months.
The funds will be utilised for R&D, building India’s first multi-axis CNC controller, and commencing construction of its second “Smart Factory” in the next 12 months.
Cactus Partners invests $5m in Indigrid Technology
Cactus Partners, an early growth-stage venture capital fund, has invested $5 million in full-stack EV component supplier Indigrid Technology.
This marks Cactus Partners’s seventh investment and the second in the EV component manufacturing space. The fund, which started investing in January 2021, has backed companies such as Kapture, Vitraya, AMPM, Auric, Lohum, and Rubix (exited).
The capital infusion will be used to expand production capacity, diversify product offerings, broaden market presence in India and globally, and strengthen the team through talent acquisition, training, and development.
Trampoline raises $5m from Matrix, WaterBridge Ventures
Trampoline, a cross-border B2B home décor brand, has raised $5 million in a seed round led by Matrix Partners India and WaterBridge Ventures.
The round also saw participation from Alteria Capital with an additional $2 million in venture debt.
The funds will enable Trampoline to solidify its supply chain and sourcing capabilities and new product development.
