Vertu Motors has continued its expansion into the South-West with the acquisition of Honda Exeter from Hendy Group this week.
The dealership, rebranded as Vertu Honda Exeter, brings Vertu’s Honda dealerships across the UK to a total of 17. In the South-West, Vertu Honda Exeter joins Vertu Honda Plymouth and Vertu Honda Truro.
Chris Taylor, group operations director at Vertu Motors, stated: “We have a long and successful association with Honda in the UK and are very proud to welcome the valued experience of the colleagues, and loyal customers at Honda Exeter to Vertu Motors.”
The Honda Exeter dealership will remain at its current location on the Marsh Barton Trading Estate. The existing team will continue to provide service to customers.

Vertu has expanded its presence in the South-West of England through a series of acquisitions. The acquisition of the Rowes Garage group in November 2023 added the Honda dealerships in Plymouth and Truro.
In December 2022, the Group acquired more than 20 dealerships that formed the majority of the Helston Garages group. Now, Vertu operates over 30 outlets in the South-West.
