Carwow to help dealers boost sales during September plate-change

Carwow will launch a new marketing campaign to help boost retailers’ enquiries and sales during the September plate-change. The campaign will help retailers manage new car stock supply and build pipeline.

A recent Carwow survey found half of consumers would like to see deals on new cars that are available for immediate delivery, while 34% would like to see deals on factory-ordered new cars.

Philipp Sayler von Amende, CCO at Carwow, said: “This campaign builds on the success of Carwow’s previous seasonal campaigns, which typically deliver a 27% increase in sales for participating retailers by helping them engage with millions of potential buyers.

“With the combined reach of Carwow, Auto Express, evo, Driving Electric and Carbuyer, we can now ensure more eyes on retailers’ new car deals in September than ever, particularly as consumer demand to buy new continues to falter and pressure on retailers to shift stock increases.”

Carwow will promote deals for 1,000s of new cars available from participating retailers.

Consumer demand for new cars has being impacted during the first six months of 2024 by increases in finance costs and ongoing cost-of-living concerns.

The restoration of new car supply has led to increased OEM collaboration with Carwow to help drive retail demand.
