Waylands has completed the acquisition of Volvo Gloucester for an undisclosed sum from Johnson Cars.
The deal sees Waylands expand their presence in the South West.
The dealership, which will remain at its current location on Cole Avenue, will be rebranded as Waylands Volvo Gloucester, with all current colleagues at the site joining the Waylands team.
John O’Hanlon, Waylands CEO, said: “We have a longstanding relationship with Volvo and are very proud to represent the luxury vehicle manufacturer at a number of existing Waylands sites across the South.
“As a site, Gloucester is a great fit for us, and is well placed to serve customers from across the South West.”
He added: “Honesty and integrity, focus and care sit at the heart of our values and we look forward to welcoming new customers and colleagues to Waylands.”
The group now represents Volvo, Polestar, Kia and MG at twelve locations across the South.
