The Chinese electric car manufacturer BYD assumes an increase in sales Germany within six months. In order to convince customers and increase sales figures, the group will need “less than half a year,” said BYD European boss Stella Li in an interview with the “Frankfurter Allgemeine Sonntagszeitung”.
She did not provide any information about the exact sales target; this was secret. But she thinks that BYD will also be “an important market player here in Europe”.
Regarding pricing, Li said a Electric car BYD will not offer anything for less than 20,000 euros. That is impossible. The company does not yet know where the exact starting price will be in Europe. “We are still working on our plan. The price could be under 30,000 euros, but it will be over 25,000 euros.”
