GoMechanic Launches Two-Wheeler Service Division with ₹100 Crore Investment Plan

GoMechanic, India’s prominent automotive service provider, today announced a significant expansion into the two-wheeler servicing market with a planned investment of ₹100 crore over the next two years. The move comes shortly after the company’s acquisition by Servizzy and targets India’s vast two-wheeler segment, which constitutes over 75% of the country’s total vehicle sales.

The company has already launched its “2Wheels” service in key metropolitan areas including Delhi-NCR, Mumbai, and Pune, with plans to expand to Bangalore, Hyderabad, Chandigarh, and Ahmedabad in the coming months. The initiative aims to address the fragmented nature of India’s two-wheeler servicing industry, where unorganized local garages currently dominate the market.

Industry analysts note that this expansion could significantly impact India’s two-wheeler servicing landscape. While premium motorcycle owners have access to authorized service centers, the majority of everyday commuters rely on local mechanics, often facing inconsistent service quality and pricing.
