Euler Motors, a prominent electric commercial vehicle manufacturer, has announced the appointment of Ashish Tandon as its new Global Head of Customer Excellence. This strategic move comes as the company strengthens its focus on customer experience and EV ecosystem development.
Tandon, who brings over 25 years of automotive industry expertise, will spearhead the company’s customer excellence initiatives and oversee the development of the Euler EV-Ecosystem. His extensive background includes significant leadership positions at major automotive companies including Tata Motors’ Commercial Vehicles Business, TAFE, and Mahindra & Mahindra.
The appointment aligns with Euler Motors’ expansion strategy as customer demand continues to grow. Tandon’s responsibilities will encompass EV technology integration and the implementation of a unified, scalable customer experience across all channels. His educational credentials, which include an Engineering degree and an Advanced certification in EV technology from IIT Delhi, complement his practical experience in developing business strategies and fostering relationships with key stakeholders.
Saurav Kumar, Founder and CEO of Euler Motors, emphasized the strategic importance of this appointment: “Like with our vehicles, we want to deliver a differentiated and matchless customer experience – on par with, or better than, the experience with ICE vehicles – both in the pre purchase phase as well as in after-sales service.” Kumar expressed confidence that Tandon’s proven track record in customer-focused transformation would advance the company’s vision of accelerating India’s transition to electric vehicles.
Upon his appointment, Tandon shared his perspective on joining Euler Motors: “The EV narrative so far in India has been focussed on Product and adoption, and I am delighted that Euler Motors has chosen to invest its energy on the post-acquisition narrative, as that is crucial to fuel the transformation of mobility in India.”
Euler Motors has established itself as an innovator in India’s EV sector with vehicles like the Storm EV, the country’s first 4W LCV featuring ADAS and Night Vision Assist with a 200 km range, and the HiLoad EV, which maintains its position as India’s most capable 3W EV with a 688 kg payload capacity and an ARAI-approved range of 170 km.
Industry analysts note that Euler Motors’ emphasis on after-sales service and customer experience could have broader implications for India’s EV sector. This focus is expected to play a crucial role in building consumer confidence and accelerating the adoption of electric vehicles in the commercial segment.
