German Manager Magazin: Wolfgang Porsche: billionaire plans 500-meter tunnel for his villa in Salzburg003971

Wolfgang Porsche (81) is currently causing great resentment in the Austrian city of Salzburg. Because the chairman of the supervisory board of the Porsche AG Plans a new private tunnel in order to facilitate the access to his villa on the Kapuzinerberg. This reports, among other things, the “Frankfurter Allgemeine Zeitung

“And the ORF Salzburg

.

The head of the Porsche family Has the historic Paschinger-Schlössl, which is also known as Stefan-Zweig-Villa-named after the Austrian writer who lived there from 1919 to 1934-already in October 2020 acquired for 8.4 million euros

. The property is currently being renovated, in the future Wolfgang Porsche apparently wants to move in there with his family. So far, however, only a narrow and often icy driveway to the villa leads in winter.

Therefore, a new access tunnel should now be created exclusively for the Porsches. A direct connection is planned, which leads from the parking garage in Linzergasse 500 meters through the mountain and overcomes 50 meters of altitude. In addition, a private car park for nine vehicles is to be created at the end of the tunnel, from there you could get directly to the villa via a footwet tunnel.

From a legal point of view, the tunnel construction can begin

According to the media reports, there is nothing in the way of the construction project from a legal point of view: the area on which the tunnel is to be created is largely part of the property of Wolfgang Porsche – according to ORF, the basement law applies, according to the owner you can theoretically be all of your entire Use the reason to the Earth Core.

Although the parking garage in Linzergasse and thus also the entrance to the planned tunnel of the city of Salzburg belongs, this should not be a problem either. Porsche paid a one -off 40,000 euros for the entry law last year, which was approved by the former Mayor of Salzburg Harald Preuner (65).

This is exactly what the Citizens’ List party is currently criticizing, because Preuner has given the approval of the use of entry without previously informing the local council. The party also does not consider the sum of 40,000 euros to be appropriate, it is a special treatment for super rich. The former mayor, meanwhile, points out the criticism that everything was taken regularly.
