A dozen cars are in Tesla-Delivery center in Holzgerlingen (district of Böblingen) went up in flames. The damage in the farm was around half a million euros, the police said. The fire was reported by a resident in the early morning. Investigators cannot rule out intentional arson.
A police spokesman said. Tesla has not yet commented on the incident on request. Several Tesla employees hung the fence on the factory premises at noon. There were several damaged vehicles behind it.
Brand attacks and color attacks
In the past, Tesla repeatedly became the target of arson attacks and color attacks. Finally, the car manufacturer’s branch in Freiburg was smeared by activists. And in Leipzig, too, unknown perpetrators tried to light two Tesla cars on Monday. The perpetrators threw a spray can with pyrotechnics on a shelter under which the cars were parked on Sunday night. Accordingly, there was an explosion.
