German Manager Magazin: BYD: CEO Wang Chuanfu Plant to build European Center in Hungary 004194

Byd will probably build a European center in Hungary. The head of the Chinese electric car giant, Wang Chuanfu (59), spoke on Thursday at a press conference with the Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orban (61) of 2000 jobs that should be created in this way.

The new center should fulfill three functions: sales and customer service, tests and the development of models for local markets. BYD has already been established in the EU country: The first European factory was built in Komarom in April 2016. A second work is under construction.
