JK Tyre & Industries Ltd. unveiled its premium tyre range, Levitas, at the ‘Fast & Fabulous: The Supercar Catwalk’ event held in Mumbai. The showcase highlighted the brand’s growing focus on the luxury and high-performance vehicle segment, aligning its Levitas product line with advanced engineering, design, and automotive excellence.
The event brought together industry professionals, automotive enthusiasts, and notable figures from the motorsports and business sectors. Attendees included Anshuman Singhania, Managing Director of JK Tyre & Industries Ltd., Akhilesh Reddy, Chairman of Racing Promotions Pvt. Ltd., and Gaurav Gill, rally driver and recipient of the Arjuna Award in Motorsports.
Two Formula cars—the Formula 4 and Formula Wolf—were displayed at the venue, marking the upcoming launch of the 2025 India Racing Festival, scheduled to begin on 15 August 2025.
Speaking at the event, Anshuman Singhania emphasized the technological advancements behind the Levitas range. “The Levitas tyres are designed to combine refined performance with modern engineering. Events like ‘Fast & Fabulous’ allow us to demonstrate the capabilities and premium positioning of our products,” he said.
The occasion also featured the announcement of a recent high-altitude drift record attempt at Umling La Pass, conducted by professional drifter Sanam Sekhon using JK Tyre’s Levitas XTREME tyres. The feat underscores JK Tyre’s focus on performance testing under extreme conditions.
The Levitas product line includes two variants: Levitas Ultra, engineered for premium vehicles, and Levitas XTREME, tailored for ultra-high-performance cars. Both are developed using advanced tread compounds and precision design to meet the demands of high-end automotive applications.
This strategic expansion into the luxury tyre market reflects JK Tyre’s broader efforts to strengthen its presence in premium automotive segments, leveraging its technical expertise and research infrastructure.
