Force Motors Limited, one of India’s leading automotive manufacturers and the country’s largest van producer, has launched Force iPulse, a connected vehicle platform designed to enhance fleet management through artificial intelligence (AI) and predictive diagnostics.
The platform, developed in collaboration with Intangles, a global provider of AI-driven predictive analytics, is intended to improve operational efficiency, vehicle health monitoring, and driver safety across Force Motors’ commercial vehicle lineup. Force iPulse will be factory-fitted on all new commercial vehicles and is also available as a certified aftermarket solution through the company’s network of over 300 dealerships.
Built on a secure, cloud-based architecture, Force iPulse collects and analyzes high-resolution data from key vehicle systems such as the engine, powertrain, electrical, and thermal components. Using hybrid analytics and machine learning models, the system identifies early signs of performance degradation and potential component failures, enabling proactive maintenance and reducing unplanned downtime.
Unlike conventional vehicle monitoring systems, Force iPulse performs root-cause analysis to distinguish between isolated issues and systemic problems. This allows fleet operators to make informed decisions based on contextual insights rather than reactive alerts.
The platform provides real-time and historical data accessible via desktop and mobile applications, offering fleet managers a unified view of vehicle performance, fuel efficiency, driver behavior, and system health. These insights aim to support better maintenance planning, reduce total cost of ownership, and promote operational best practices.
To support the platform, Force Motors has established an Intelligence Command Center at its Pune headquarters. The center operates 24/7 with a team of diagnostics experts who monitor vehicles remotely, manage alerts, and assist in issue resolution. Technical support is delivered through a joint service team from Force Motors and Intangles.
Prasan Firodia, Managing Director of Force Motors, stated that the launch of iPulse reflects the company’s focus on innovation aimed at improving customer operations. “Force iPulse is designed to provide transparency, efficiency, and control in fleet management,” he said.
Anup Patil, CEO of Intangles, emphasized the partnership’s objective of integrating advanced analytics into real-world fleet operations. “Our collaboration with Force Motors brings scalable, data-driven intelligence to fleet operators, supporting smarter decision-making throughout the vehicle lifecycle,” Patil said.
Force iPulse is part of Project DigiForce, the company’s broader digital transformation initiative. With adaptive AI and continuous learning capabilities, the platform is designed to evolve with changing fleet requirements.
Headquartered in Pune, Force Motors operates five manufacturing facilities across India and employs over 10,000 people. The company is known for its Traveller and Trax commercial vehicles, the Urbania premium passenger van, and the rugged Force Gurkha SUV. It also manufactures engines for BMW and Mercedes-Benz vehicles produced in India and has a joint venture with Rolls-Royce Power Systems AG for high-horsepower engine production.
Intangles, headquartered in Pune with a global presence, serves over 30,000 fleet operators and 15 OEM partners across 18 countries, providing predictive analytics solutions that improve vehicle reliability and reduce operational costs.
Force iPulse is now available across Force Motors’ commercial vehicle range, marking a step toward greater digitization in India’s fleet management ecosystem.
