Speaking at the launch event, Sharad Agarwal, Chief Business Officer of Classic Legends, revealed that the company will expand its service and sales network to 450 touch points across India by Diwali this year, with plans to cross 500 outlets soon after. This represents a significant jump from the current network of approximately 350 outlets.

“Our focus is on making our brands more accessible to customers across the country. The expansion to 450 touch points by Diwali is just the beginning – we aim to cross 500 outlets soon to ensure customers have convenient access to sales, service, and spare parts,” Agarwal said at the launch.

The company’s leadership also acknowledged past challenges that affected the Yezdi brand. Co-founder Anupam Thareja revealed that the brand faced orchestrated negative online campaigns through automated accounts that targeted its after-sales service, engine reliability, and performance metrics. Co-founder Boman Irani added that unexpected disruptions like the COVID-19 pandemic created additional hurdles for the brand’s growth trajectory.

The network expansion is particularly crucial as the company introduces more advanced products like the new 2025 Yezdi Roadster, which comes packed with segment-leading features and technology. The motorcycle boasts several key highlights:

Technical Specifications:

  • Engine: 334cc single-cylinder liquid-cooled Alpha 2 engine with Yezdi DNA, producing 29.6 bhp and 29.9 Nm of torque
  • Transmission: Six-speed gearbox with gear-based calibration for optimized performance
  • Braking: Best-in-class braking with front single 320mm disc (Brembo) and rear single 240mm disc (Brembo), equipped with Continental dual-channel ABS
  • Clutch: Assist and slipper clutch for smoother gear transitions
  • Features: Patented breather canopy, cast iron liner for enhanced durability, improved low-speed drivability
  • Dimensions: 755mm seat height, 1440mm wheelbase for stable handling
  • Customization: 6 factory-custom kits with over 50 customization options
  • Lighting: Full LED lighting setup including headlamps, taillights, and indicators

The model also benefits from a comprehensive ownership package, with Agarwal announcing that it will come with a 4-year warranty and a 5-year comprehensive maintenance plan – industry-leading offerings in the segment.

The expansion comes as part of Classic Legends’ broader growth strategy announced in June, where the company outlined plans to double its sales to over 64,000 units in FY26 from 32,343 units achieved in FY25. The network expansion will cover all three brands in the company’s portfolio – Jawa, Yezdi, and BSA – ensuring uniform service quality and availability across the range.

This aggressive expansion follows a series of strategic moves by Classic Legends over the past year. The company partnered with Flipkart in September 2024 to enable online sales, introduced the BSA Gold Star 650 to the Indian market, and launched the Ownership Assurance Programme in March 2025. With a ₹1,000 crore investment commitment announced earlier this year for growth initiatives, the network expansion forms a crucial part of the company’s strategy to achieve its target of 100,000 annual sales by 2025.

The enhanced network will not only strengthen domestic operations but also support the company’s ambitious export plans, which target 20,000 units across seven new markets including the US, Australia, New Zealand, Japan, Middle East, and Mexico. The company is also exploring opportunities in Argentina and Prague as part of its international expansion strategy.

The timing of the network expansion aligns with the festive season, when motorcycle sales traditionally peak in India. With the launch of updated Yezdi models featuring extensive customization options and premium components like Brembo brakes and Continental ABS, Classic Legends is positioning itself to capture a larger share of the premium motorcycle segment, which has been growing steadily in the Indian market.
