Mercedes-Benz inaugurated a new luxury service facility in Udaipur, Rajasthan, operated by T&T Motors, marking the company’s fourth touchpoint in the state and part of its expansion into emerging growth markets across India. The 9,000 square feet facility features service bays, an exclusive handover area, and the city’s first ultra-fast 180KW EV charger with two bays accessible to all electric vehicle customers.
The facility opening represents Mercedes-Benz’s strategy to expand into potential growth markets across India, including cities like Agra, Kanpur, Jammu, Varanasi, Jalandhar, Kottayam, and Patna. The company has inaugurated 11 new luxury touchpoints this year and plans 12 more before year-end, building on its network of over 140 luxury touchpoints across 50+ cities.
India’s luxury car market has shown steady growth, with manufacturers expanding into tier-2 and tier-3 cities to capture demand from affluent customers in emerging markets. Mercedes-Benz India, which pioneered the luxury car segment in the country 30 years ago, maintains its position as a leading premium automotive brand with local manufacturing capabilities at its Chakan facility near Pune.
The Udaipur facility includes three preventive maintenance and general repair bays, two body and paint job bays, and three supporting bays. A key feature is the Premier Express Bay offering 60-minute quick servicing for customer convenience.
T&T Motors Udaipur provides comprehensive digital services including online appointment booking, digital service drive, and vehicle digital reception systems. The facility will also offer 24-hour Service Mobilio support for customers requiring emergency assistance.
The service center includes private consultation areas, semi-private consultation spaces, an exclusive hospitality counter, and a boutique shop displaying Mercedes-Benz accessories. The facility’s vehicle handover area features eight media displays and a Key Presenter for exclusive customer deliveries.
