New Mahindra Bolero Range Launched with Lower Prices, Added Features

Mahindra has refreshed the Bolero and Bolero Neo for 2025, introducing updated styling, new features, and better-equipped variants. Prices for the standard Bolero now start at Rs 7.99 lakh, while the Bolero Neo begins at Rs 8.49 lakh (ex-showroom, India). Both SUVs also debut new range-topping variants that add a touch of modernity to their tried-and-tested appeal.

2025 Mahindra Bolero: what’s new?

For 2025, the Bolero is offered in three variants – B4, B6, and B8, the latter being the most feature-loaded Bolero ever. Prices have seen a notable revision, with the entry-level B4 variant now starting at Rs 7.99 lakh, down from Rs 8.79 lakh earlier. The mid-spec B6 is priced at Rs 8.69 lakh, while the new flagship B8 variant costs Rs 9.69 lakh. This pricing strategy makes the Bolero more accessible to first-time SUV buyers while adding value at every trim level.

The B4 continues to focus on essentials, featuring vinyl seats and a utilitarian interior, while the B6 introduces fabric upholstery and a touchscreen infotainment system. The newly introduced B8 variant steps things up considerably — offering leatherette upholstery, diamond-cut alloy wheels, fog lamps, and static bending headlamps. These updates not only enhance the Bolero’s visual appeal but also improve comfort and convenience for everyday users.

For the first time, the Bolero now comes with a 17.8 cm touchscreen infotainment system paired with steering-mounted controls, bringing a dose of modern connectivity to its otherwise simple cabin. The SUV also gets a Driver Information System (DIS) that displays key vehicle data, along with USB Type-C charging ports for added practicality.

Visually, Mahindra has introduced a new grille design across all variants and added a Stealth Black colour option that lends the Bolero a more premium stance. On the safety front, dual airbags, ABS, and reverse parking sensors are now standard across the range — a significant step up for a vehicle that has traditionally prioritised durability over driver aids.

2025 Mahindra Bolero Neo: What’s new?

The Bolero Neo, which targets urban and semi-urban buyers looking for ruggedness in a compact form, also receives a meaningful update for 2025. Externally, it gets a revised front grille with horizontal accents and a new set of 16-inch alloy wheels. The familiar, boxy silhouette with its tailgate-mounted spare wheel remains unchanged, preserving the SUV’s unmistakable Bolero character.

Mahindra has added two new exterior shades — Jeans Blue and Concrete Gray — joining existing colours like Diamond White, Stealth Black, Pearl White, and Rocky Beige. Dual-tone paint options are now available as well, enhancing the SUV’s visual appeal for lifestyle-focused buyers.

Inside, the Bolero Neo gets a major tech upgrade with a new 22.8 cm (9-inch) touchscreen infotainment system that supports Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, as well as a rear-view camera for added convenience. The cabin sports a new dual-tone theme, refreshed interior materials, and a USB Type-C port. Depending on the variant, Mahindra also offers two interior colour schemes, giving customers more choice.

Under the hood, the Bolero Neo continues with the proven 1.5-litre, three-cylinder mHawk100 diesel engine, producing 100hp and 260Nm of torque, paired exclusively with a 5-speed manual gearbox. The SUV retains its rear-wheel-drive, ladder-frame architecture, a rarity in today’s compact SUV segment.

Bolero legacy continues

The Bolero brand has long been a cornerstone of Mahindra’s SUV lineup, balancing utility, durability, and affordability. With these 2025 updates, Mahindra has managed to inject a degree of modern sophistication without compromising on the ruggedness that has made the Bolero nameplate a household favourite for over two decades.
