Chery Group Surpasses Two Million Global Sales in 2025

Chinese automobile manufacturer Chery reported sales of over two million vehicles globally during the first three quarters of 2025, representing a 14.5% year-on-year increase and the fastest timeline for the company to reach this sales volume.

In September, Chery Group delivered 280,469 vehicles worldwide, a 14.7% year-over-year increase. New energy vehicles (NEVs) comprised 91,590 units, reflecting a 55.4% increase compared to the previous year.

This marked the fifth consecutive month that Chery Group’s exports exceeded 100,000 units, continuing its 22-year streak as China’s largest vehicle exporter.

From January through September 2025, the company sold 2,007,768 vehicles globally. NEV sales totaled 587,545 units, a 77.1% year-on-year increase, positioning Chery among China’s top five NEV manufacturers.

Sales have increased for several models in the company’s lineup, including the Tiggo range. The company has expanded its European presence with entry into Poland, Greece, and Romania, reporting increased sales in the region.

Chery maintained its position as China’s leading passenger vehicle exporter for the 22nd consecutive year. The company became the first Chinese automotive brand to export over 130,000 vehicles in a single month, surpass five million cumulative exports, and maintain monthly exports above 100,000 units for five consecutive months.
