MapmyIndia Wins Survey of India Contract for National Geo-Spatial Platform

C.E. Info Systems Limited, operating as MapmyIndia, has been awarded a contract by the Survey of India (SoI), Government of India, to develop a National Geo-Spatial Platform, the company disclosed to stock exchanges today.

The project, described as first-of-its-kind in India, will be based on indigenous technologies developed by MapmyIndia. The platform is designed to serve as a unified digital infrastructure for aggregating, harmonizing, and disseminating authentic and accurate foundational geospatial data and services across the country.

According to the regulatory filing submitted to BSE Limited and the National Stock Exchange of India, the National Geo-Spatial Platform will support governance, research, industry, and citizen-centric applications. The disclosure was made pursuant to Regulation 30 of the SEBI Listing Obligations and Disclosure Requirements Regulations, 2015.

MapmyIndia confirmed that the contract represents a domestic transaction with no involvement from international entities. The company stated that its promoters, promoter group, or group companies have no interest in the awarding entity, and the transaction does not fall within the scope of related party transactions.

The filing, signed by Company Secretary and Compliance Officer Saurabh Surendra Somani, did not disclose the financial size of the contract or the execution timeline.
