The electric car manufacturer Zeekr, which is part of the Chinese Geely Group, plans to start direct sales of three types of car this Monday Germany start. This was reported by the “Electric Car News” portal. Accordingly, Zeekr wants to offer the compact four-door X, the all-rounder SUV 7X and the shooting brake type 001.
Zeekr wants to rely on over 40 service centers, but orders should be made digitally. Zeekr offers a guarantee of eight years or 200,000 kilometers for the high-voltage batteries of its electric cars.
Zeekrs Europe boss Lothar Schupet told “Electric Car News” that the target group was “premium luxury-oriented private customers”, corporate fleet operators and rental car providers. “The demand is enormous. There are a number of DAX companies and large leasing companies that are waiting for our electric cars,” said Schupet.
The Geely Holding includes, among others, the brands Lotus, Volvo and Polestar. In the past four years, Zeekr has delivered around 550,000 vehicles to customers worldwide.
