A The banks of the Rhine in the Wiesbaden district of Biebrich are seething: Apparently, the operators of two hookah bars are enemies. Highlight of the dispute last week could have been a sharp-firing attack. So far, it is not clear who shot. But: A 27 -year-old Frankfurter suffered a bullet wound on his leg and was probably still lucky, because the offender must have made more than one shot. The investigators found several cartridge cases at the scene. This speaks in favor of a pistol that ejects empty pods after the shot.
As the police had communicated, four people had met at the Wiesbadener Moritzstraße and quarreled. The Moritzstraße is located in the city center, which allows the conclusion that the participants ran there rather coincidentally on the way. In the course of a fight not only the Frankfurt was shot in the leg, also a 26 year old man from Niedernhausen suffered a hand injury. After witnesses had alarmed the police, the participants first fled the car from Moritzstrasse, but investigators were able to arrest two men in the evening. The car, a big one Porsche with Wiesbadener holder address, was ensured.
The two 29- and 32-year-old suspects, one from Wiesbaden and one from the Rhine-Main area, were interrogated, but had to be released again because, according to police, there were no grounds for detention. The two are not yet out of the woods, according to the police is being investigated against them for dangerous bodily injury. This means that the investigators currently do not assume a killing intention.
Enlightenment is difficult
The clarification of the events is difficult because both the alleged perpetrators and the victims are silent. Apparently, however, they are known to the police. One day after the shooting, the investigators searched the two hookah bars on the Biebricher bank of the Rhine for the weapon. In the large-scale raid were criminal police, riot police and employees of the Wiesbadener Ordnungsamtes in use. In part, the investigators wore black masks so that the guests of the hookah bars could not identify them.
In order not to jeopardize the investigation, the police with other information holds back. After researching this newspaper, there has been a dispute for some time between the operators of the two bars. Originally, the two restaurants should have been operated together, but this did not happen, as one could hear. Since then there is trouble. Both the perpetrators and the victims appear to have a migrant background. They probably do not belong to the autoposer scene and probably not to organized crime. However, they should not be unwritten leaves
Anger around the bar is a tiresome topic
It is not the first incident around the two hookah bars. Already in March there had been a dispute between two groups. According to the police, five men entered one of the bars, mobbing and cursing the owner. They left the bar to return later. The repeated loud controversy was partly carried out on the street. In addition, shots were fired at that time. They are said to have been delivered around two o’clock in the morning and damaged the front door, as the police reported back then. The perpetrators fled with two cars in the direction of Mainz-Kastel.
The police later reported that it was apparently just a bullet, but it was never found. When the officials controlled the guests in the bar, a stun gun was secured. The fugitives escaped unrecognized.
The annoyance of the two bars in Biebrich is a tiresome topic. The restaurants on the Rheingaustraße are very well visited, especially in summer. Then there are regularly parked the bus lane and parts of the carriageway with luxury vehicles. For the autoposer scene, the bars are a hotspot. All attempts of the city to get the situation under control have failed. However, this may change soon, as the police want to control it more often and show more presence, a spokesman said yesterday. In addition, intensive search for the sharp weapon.
