Anchor Vans is to expand its dealership on the A4 at Padworth, near Reading.
It acquired a two- acre site adjacent to its existing three-acre Padworth site. Development work will begin later this year.
The new space will provide a permanent location for the valeting department, an area for transporters to unload away from the busy main road and more room for stock.
Simon Joyce, MD of Anchor Vans said: “We are thrilled to announce the expansion of our main site and we are excited about the improvements it will bring to our business, our employees’ working lives and the local community.
“Our family-run business has been operating in the local area for over 30 years, and we look forward to continuing our growth which will open up further job opportunities within our area.”
This announcement follows planning approval for renovations to the company’s third site along the A4 in Midgham, where the business will be making changes, including the installation of a new glass-fronted showroom and additional MOT bay.
The company is rated 35 in the Motor Trader Top 50 Independent Dealers with annual turnover of £25.9m.
