South of England-based Snows has taken over a Perrys site selling Fiat, Mazda and Peugeot in Farlington, Portsmouth.
The showrooms now have Snows branding and the company will sell Abarth models for the first time from the Fiat facility.
“This is another strategic acquisition for the business, further strengthening our offering to discerning customers in the Portsmouth region and creating economies of scale in a highly competitive market,” said Snows’ group chairman Stephen Snow.
The Fiat operation complements Snows’ Southampton, Isle of Wight and Hampshire Fiat sites, while the Mazda franchise joins one taken on earlier in the year at Chichester.
The Portsmouth Peugeot showroom joins Snows’ franchises for the French brand in Basingstoke, Chichester, Newbury and Romsey in Hampshire.
The acquisition, which took place at the start of this month, sees the group expand its dealer portfolio to 49 sites, serving 18 marques overall.
Group board director Neil McCue said the latest expansion demonstrated the on-going strength of Snows’ partnership with client manufacturers, which include BMW, Mini, Seat and Toyota.
Snows operate in Devon, Dorset, Hampshire, the Isle of Wight, Somerset, Surrey, West Sussex and Wiltshire.
