Stefan and Ulf are our GBS dealers in Sweden and this year we are celebrating 10 years of Zero in Sweden. It all started in June 2008 when Stefan and Ulf first visited the GBS Factory to meet us and to see what we do.
Few words from Stefan and Ulf “The visit was the start of 10 years and hopefully 10 more of cooperation. In December 2008 we took the first delivery which was a set of four Zero kits at the same time. Two of the Zero kits were designated for Education at a mechanical school, in which during the years a lot of schools have ordered kits from us. One of the schools in Sweden also provided one famous rally driver Petter Solberg with a ZERO with 257 Hp.
In November 2011 our own Zero demonstrator was up and running, the first ZERO ready for Swedish roads.
The ZERO (see below) has been on a TV show in Sweden called My Great day (Min stora dag) It´s a TV show to fulfill disabled peoples wishes. One person’s wish was to go for a ride in a sportscar.”
Back in 2015 both Stefan and Ulf joined us at Silverstone for our GBS Track Day, they came over especially from Sweden for the Track Day. Ulf in particular is a massive fan of formula one and had always wanted to visit Silverstone and see the Grand Prix Circuit, so his dream came true when we let him take our GBS Zero demonstrator out for some laps on the Grand Prix circuit with Stefan in the passenger seat. We are also back at Silverstone later this week (Thursday 11th October) for a Track Day, unfortunately Stefan and Ulf will not be joining us but hopefully they will be able to make some Track days and events next year. Stefan and Ulf said “During these 10 years we have sold 29 kits from the north to the south of Sweden. The latest order was placed 03-10-18 and we have had a lot of more enquires about the Zero. About the ZERO, we only have good experience, the contact with SFRO and The Swedish IVA have been very smooth and most of the kits have past the tests with no problems, some have been back to tests after smaller modifications.
We started our business with the GBS Zero and our plan is to go on with the business and the ZERO for many more years.”
