Ford gives ten days to the potential buyer of the Blanquefort plant to review his copy

The only candidate for the takeover of the Ford factory Blanquefort (Gironde) near Bordeaux, the Belgian group Punch Powerglide, has just been imposed by the US car manufacturer a new deadline to revise his project. “In order to meet the information and consultation schedule, Ford has asked the potential buyer for a revised proposal, letter of offer and business plan by November 23,” writes Ford, promising to make its decision later on November 28th.

This press release was read by the General Manager of the FAI factory, Gerd Inden, at a meeting of the Works Council on November 13th.
