MADRID, Dec. 27 (EUROPA PRESS) –
The registrations of cars and SUVs registered a volume of 70,682 units in December, with two working days to close the month, which represents a decrease of 5.8% compared to the same month of the previous year, with which they are linked four consecutive months of decreases, according to advanced data to Europa Press by the Spanish Association of Manufacturers of Automobiles and Trucks (ANFAC).
By channels, sales to companies closed the last month of the year with a volume of 22,374 units, representing an increase of 3.3% compared to the same month of 2017. For their part, the rental companies purchased 8,897 units in December, 20.1% more than in the same month of the previous year.
Private customers acquired 39,411 units in December, representing a fall of 14.3% compared to the same period of the previous year.
Anfac expects December to close with 100,644 registered units, which would mean a decrease of 2.2% compared to the same month of the previous year.
In the accumulated of the year a total of 1.32 million registered units is estimated, which would translate into an increase of 7.1% compared to 1.23 million units that were enrolled in the year of 2017.
