Would you like to see a Koenigsegg Agera RS doing hot laps around a race track with Koenigsegg test driver, Niklas Lilja behind the wheel?
Would you like BE IN THE CAR?
If you’re in southern California this weekend, this could be your opportunity.
A group of Koenigseggs will be on show AND in action at the Orange County Festival of Speed this weekend and YOU can be in on the action.
OFCOS is both a static and interactive event, held this Saturday and Sunday, the 12th and 13th of January. There will be a huge car display showing all types of motoring – supercars, hypercars, muscle cars, rare imports, and more. As it’s being held at a race circuit – AutoClub Speedway in Fontana, CA – there will also be a full program of events where you can see various cars on the track, including hypercars like the Agera RS and the Regera, among others.
There’s even a Buy a Ride section of the OFCOS website, where you can buy passenger laps in some of the world’s rarest cars. Yes, there’s a chance you could ride in the world record Agera RS with the world record driver behind the wheel!!
The show cars will be on display all day, on both days.
There’ll be an Autocross event running all day, on both days.
Track laps will occur in multiple sessions throughout the day, on both days.
The event is named in tribute to the Goodwood Festival of Speed. Like Goodwood, there’ll be plenty of exotic machinery to look at, whether it be on display or on the track.
Unlike Goodwood, however, you don’t have to sell your firstborn to get in. Admission to the Orange County Festival of Speed starts at just $10 and that gives you access to see the entire event. Various upgrade packages are also available for those who want a bit more. Check out the registration page for full details.
