MADRID, 6 Feb. (EUROPA PRESS) –
Vehicle rental multinational Enterprise Holdings has completed the acquisition of Deem, a technology innovation platform for travel management, the company said in a statement.
Deem includes Deem Work Fource and Deem Ground Work, a suite of ‘online’ booking tools and technology products aimed at business travelers, travel managers, suppliers and travel management companies.
Enterprise Holdings, which operates Enterprise Rent-A-Car, National Car Rental and Alamo Rent A Car, announced in January its intention to acquire Deem. “We recognized Deem as a company that can provide better solutions to the tourism sector,” said Greg Stubblefield, executive vice president and strategic director of the company.
Under the umbrella of the US rental car operator, Deem now has access to an injection of capital and resources to continue expanding the roadmap of their products and increase their development and improvement rates.
Deem will continue operating independently from its headquarters in Silicon Valley (United States) and offering its set of technological tools for business trips, which include options for air and hotel transportation, as well as ground transportation such as car rentals, executive taxis, connected mobility and rail services. John F. Rizzo will remain in his position as CEO and the rest of the executive team will also remain in his current position.
