Daimler has always referred to the 2019 delivery date of the EQC. Since the presentation of the production vehicles already took place at the end of 2018, the manufacturer and other market participants assumed that the delivery would not take place until the end of 2019.
Actually, Daimler wanted to use a flexible production strategy. Initially, the EQC will run off the production line at the Bremen plant. However, only as needed, so that the electric cars are not in bulk on heap. With flexible production, however, long delivery times, as is currently the case with electric cars, should be a thing of the past. That does not seem to work.
With a net capacity of 80 kWh, gross 85 kWh, the EQC should have a range of around 400 kilometers according to WLTP.
Two asynchronous motors in the front and rear of the vehicle together achieve a drive power of 300 kW (408 hp). This accelerates the EQC from 0 to 100 km / h in 5.1 seconds. So far, the company has not named a price

The vehicle is equipped with a water-cooled on-board charger with a capacity of 7.4 kW and can be charged at a suitable charging station with up to 110 kW. Thus, a charge of 10 to 80 percent of the capacity takes about 40 minutes.
