Mitsubishi to create bespoke truck from dealership designs

Mitsubishi Motors in the UK has launched a social media campaign in which it has tasked its dealership staff to design their own bespoke Mitsubishi L200, with the winning design being voted for on social media.

Titled the Truck King Battle, the competition will see the final five creations posted across the Mitsubishi Motors in the UK social media channels today.

The truck with the highest level of engagement will then be declared the winner and will be announced on 21st March.

The winning design will then be created as a bespoke one-off truck, to be unveiled at the Commercial Vehicle Show at the NEC in Birmingham, 30th April–2nd May.

Rob Lindley, managing director, Mitsubishi Motors in the UK said, “The ‘Truck King Battle’ is a way of engaging with our dealers and getting them involved in a creative project, illustrating the opportunities for customisation and personalisation of our best-selling pick-up truck.

“The Mitsubishi L200 is an important vehicle for us, our dealers and our customers who use the truck’s attributes with such a wide-range of applications.

“The diverse and adaptable nature of the Mitsubishi L200 has meant the dealer’s entries for the ‘Truck King Battle’ have been very wide-ranging and we look forward to seeing which one gets the most engagement across our social media channels.”
