Jardine initiates build for new Bolton Audi dealership

Jardine Motors Group is investing in a new Audi dealership in Bolton.

Set to open in the summer, it will be a flagship Audi centre built in the manufacturer’s Terminal design.

The dealership will include a showroom display space for 12 new cars, an 80 car Approved Used forecourt display, a 22 bay workshop featuring the latest in servicing equipment and parking spaces for more than 100 sales and service customers.

The showroom will provide use of the Audi New Car Configurator suite, as well as a customer handover bay.

The new 22 bay workshop and servicing facility will incorporate twin MOT, vehicle alignment and ‘Ad Blue’ bays to increase the level of services available.

David Lucas, Audi market area director, said: “Having outgrown our current site, the investment by Jardine Motors Group will ensure we continue to meet our high standards of customer service, courtesy of a flagship Audi brand experience.

“With a new vibrant feel, the state-of-the-art centre will help us provide an unequalled retail experience to local motorists. Once the centre is open I would like to personally invite anyone interested to come along and see the fantastic facilities on offer.”

Motor Trader recently reported another example of Jardine investment.

The Group has pumped £1m into redeveloping its BMW dealership in Bury St Edmunds.

The overhaul has seen Jardine install BMWi and M product presentation stands. Three new technicians are being recruited to bring the headcount to 15.

The dealership hosted a reopening weekend on Saturday 26 and Sunday 27 January.

2019 already looks to be a very successful year for the team with a host of new additions to both our highly dedicated team and impressive range of BMW cars.
