STUTTGART (GERMANY), 29 Mar. (EUROPA PRESS) –
Mercedes-Benz Vans has appointed Marcus Breitschwerdt as the new director of the company, replacing Volker Mornhinweg, who will retire on May 1 after 39 years in Daimler.
According to the company in a statement, Breitschwerdt is currently responsible for Marketing and Sales of Mercedes-Benz Cars in Europe and will now report to the director of Human Resources and Labor Relations of Daimler, Wilfried Porth.
The manager joined Daimler in 1991 and has held the position of President and CEO of Mercedes-Benz in Canada and the United Kingdom, among others.
“I would like to thank Volker Mornhinweg for his years of commitment and wish him the best for the future,” said Porth, emphasizing that Breitschwerdt will continue to transform the company over the next four decades.
