The dealers offered discounts of 4,204 euros on average per car sold in the first half

This discount figure is a decrease of 0.56% compared to the average for the first half of last year.

The promotional efforts by dealers continue in a period where sales are not accompanying. According to the MSI consultancy, Spanish dealers made an average discount of 4,204 euros per car sold during the first six months of the current year.

As mentioned above, this average figure represents a decrease of 0.56% in the discounts made during the first semester of 2018. In total, according to MSI, throughout Spain promotions have been made up to 357.72 million euros. euros, 7.05% less than in those months of 2018.

The analysis of MSI reveals that between the months of January and June the average price paid by buyers of Spanish cars was 26,990 euros (+ 2.75%). However, the average effective price, which was actually paid thanks to the discounts, remained at 22,786 euros, 3.39% more.

As for the total volume of Spanish dealers, during the first half of 2019 there were 1,938 million euros, 3.35% less.

On the other hand, the MSI data show that cars sold in Spain had an average power of 127.5 horses in the first half, 3.1% more, with average emissions of carbon dioxide (CO2) of 118.5 grams per kilometer, 2.01% more.
