In Australia, you want to take greater action against the use of the mobile phone on the steering wheel.
Also the fatal accident with the Uber-wagon goes back to an inattentive driver staring at her phone instead of paying attention to the traffic. This behavior has already cost countless lives, because it leads to accidents again and again.
In Australia one wants now by means of cameras and the picture evaluation by Artificial intelligences to take action against it. Cameras are installed on the streets or placed on the roadside as mobile units. These are to film the vehicles. An Artificial Intelligence evaluates the images and reports when someone has picked up his cell phone while driving.
Such a message is then forwarded to a human who checks to see if there has actually been a violation. These images should therefore also be saved.
In the first quarter, the travelers receive a written warning. Only after this trial period will fines be charged.
