In order to control compliance with diesel bans, Berlin is considering automatically monitoring traffic.

The criticism refers to the privacybecause the device is suitable for creating profiles. In addition, the ratio would be wrong, since only a part of the vehicles should not drive there. One is at the illegal detection reminded the police in Bavaria and Brandenburg.
