[Covid-19] After Michelin, PSA and FCA close the majority of their factories

The auto industry is slowing down due to the coronavirus pandemic. After Michelin, which announced on March 16 that it will temporarily close 22 production sites in France, Spain and Italy, the FCA group (Fiat-Chrysler) communicates in turn on the shutdown of the majority of its European factories until March 27. Eight sites are closing: six in Italy, one in Serbia and one in Poland.

Ferrari had already announced on March 14 the closure of its factory in Maranello, Italy. Seat has laid off workers from three factories located in the Barcelona region of Catalonia.
