Investments in technology and related companies continue, and recently SOS LAB from South Korea raised $ 8 million in Series A. Despite the corona-related decline in productivity and the reduced enthusiasm in the industry, the company plans to commercialize its lidar.

It is a solid-state lidar that you want to offer cheaply in mass production. The MEMS technology is used for this. The Lidar ML-1 was on the last one CES presented. You could already be a partner ON Semiconductor to back up. In addition, manufacturers have already aroused interest. Commercialization is supposed to 2021 kick off.
