The manufacturer Subaru is rather cautious about autonomous driving, but now you are launching heavy guns. With a total of 30 billion yen, which is 250 million euros, the company plans to expand its test capacities.

The research and test field in Ota, north of Tokyo, is to be expanded and renewed with the help of the money. The site, which measures 59,000 square meters, has already been bought. It is about assistance systems and autonomous driving. Especially the system EyeSight is well received.

Subaru expects the plant to be completed in 2024. By then, the number of skilled workers is also said to have increased.
