TMS Motor Group finalised its acquisition of Sandicliffe Leicester Kia dealership for an undisclosed sum.
The move takes its representation with the Korean brand up to two sites.
The group is keeping on all existing staff at the dealership as part of the acquisition.
TMS Motor Group has already operated the Hinckley Kia dealership for seven years, but this acquisition will provide the group more geographical spread in the region.
TMS managing director, Len Hallows, said: “The business was a good geographic fit for the group which also operates three Volvo sites in the Midlands”.
“We can create economies of scale with a regional business model and Leicester represents a territory with huge potential and is contiguous to our existing Kia site in Hinckley.
“We very much look forward to working with the existing team in Leicester and I would like to extend a warm welcome to them all.”
