Oak Park, Michigan-based Bollinger Motors first made headlines with its all-electric, all-wheel-drive B1 trucks that are seen as a major competitor to Tesla’s Cybertruck. Now the company is looking to push the envelope even further with its sleeker, all-electric line of delivery vans, dubbed the Deliver-e line.
Running exclusively on battery-electric power, the front-wheel-drive vehicles will be offered in models for class 2B, 3, 4, and 5 applications. The company sees the new offerings as a way to dramatically reduce the fuel costs encountered by vehicle fleets used by logistics companies such as UPS and FedEx.
The all-electric power provided by the 70, 105, 140, 175, and 210 kWh battery packs could also help reduce noise and pollution levels. Varying wheelbase options will also be provided, along with standard features that include an 18” floor height for easier cargo loading and unloading, as well as a steel frame.
The company is still working with its manufacturing partner to ensure the U.S.-based production of the Deliver-e, which is currently scheduled for 2022. No pricing is currently available.
