New DELHI: Marc Llistosella who was appointed as the new chief executive officer and managing director of Tata Motors effective from July 1, 2021 will not be joining the company as he is not able to relocate to India for personal reasons, N Chandershekran, Chairman, Tata Motors, said in a statement.
Llistosella was most recently the president and CEO of Fuso Truck and Bus Corporation and head of Daimler Trucks in Asia.
According to a company statement, the current MD and CEO Guenter Butschek has informed his desire to relocate to Germany at the end of his contract for personal reasons. He has accepted the request of the Board of Tata Motors to continue as the MD and CEO till June 30, 2021.
