The new Dacia Spring becomes part of the Zity fleet
The carsharing service offers 250 units of the Dacia Spring in the city of Paris, while in our country, specifically in Madrid, the cheapest electric SUV units are expected to arrive during the fourth quarter of 2021.
The company of carsharing has just announced that the Dacia Spring is available from this June. It will start with a total of 150 units and another 100 more will arrive in September, for a total fleet of 250 units of which is the first vehicle 100% electric from Dacia.
Thus, from the end of June, Parisians will be able to use Spring from the Zity app itself. When will it arrive in Spain? In Madrid, which is the only city where it operates, the Dacia Spring will arrive during the fourth quarter of 2021.

As they advance from Zity, the Dacia Spring has the characteristics to be an ideal car for carsharing. It has an electric unit of 44 CV and a maximum torque of 125 Nm. This allows it to accelerate from 0 to 100 km / h in 19.1 seconds and reach a speed of 125 km / h. All this with a combined consumption of 13.9 kWh per 100 kilometers. It is associated with a 27.4 kWh battery that gives it a range of 230 km (WLTP) and of up to 305 km if you only drive through the city, as is the case. In addition, it supports a 30 kW recharge and only requires 50 minutes to achieve an 80% charge.
To this is added a complete equipment that highlights an infotainment system with compatibility with devices with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, rear view camera, height-adjustable driver’s seat, folding rear bench, central locking, manual climate control, power steering , Eco-Mode, front and rear electric windows, automatic headlights, autonomous emergency braking, speed limiter or emergency call.
It will replace part of the Renault Zoe fleet
The Dacia Springs that arrive coexisted with the Renault ZOE current Zity has in Paris. However, part of the French electric fleet will be replaced during the third quarter of 2021, replacing 250 of the 500 ZOE that the carsharing service has in Paris. In Madrid, the renewal of ZOE units is expected to take place, foreseeably, from September 2021. The current fleet between Madrid and Paris is 1,300 vehicles; 800 in Madrid and 500 in Paris, all of them 100% electric.
