On August 19, we were surprised by the sad news of the death, at 83 years of age, of Manuel Bertolín, a Valencian businessman and BMW Dealer since 1963, which gave him the status of first in our country and one of the oldest in Europe. . This fact reflects by itself the great professional career carried out since the opening of AUTOMÓVILES BERTOLÍN in Valencia more than 50 years ago, but what it fails to reflect is the human quality, respect and affection that all his colleagues, colleagues and friends of The BMW Network professed “Don Manuel”, who knew how to earn more than the status of Lord, since it was in every sense of the word.
Highlighting his great professionalism and his know-how as a Concessionaire is amply demonstrated: his innumerable clients throughout these years attest to this, with a close, exclusive and personalized treatment with which he achieved a perfect combination of loyalty and satisfaction with the service. received, in many cases from the hand of Don Manuel in person, at the foot of the canyon until a few weeks before his death. Few like him can already boast of knowing the car as he did, from the very entrails, starting in his first workshop until today, his love for cars was evident in his behavior and mood, and it was reflected in what else that a business was a way of life. It was common to see him on the streets of Valencia at the wheel of the latest BMW models and receiving his clients at the very door of the Concession, all of which shows that he carried the cars and BMW in his heart.
This exemplary professional performance earned him numerous awards and recognitions throughout all these years, and made him a true benchmark for all the BMW Dealers who came after him, and who considered him and continue to consider him a role model. And a model also and more importantly, in his personal facet, his human profile, his quality, his principles and values, which made him earn the esteem and affection of everyone around him, of the sector in general, of all his colleagues from the BMW Network, who appreciated him and will miss him.
His professional and personal legacy will undoubtedly remain with his children, Manuel and Fátima, and with the entire BERTOLÍN family, to whom we extend the most sincere hug in these difficult moments. Our deep appreciation, Don Manuel, to a lifetime on wheels.
