Subaru UK has added four new dealerships to its UK network following the relaunch of the brand with the slogan ‘Better Where It Matters’.
The new dealerships are Budgen Motors Subaru, Shrewsbury; William Sawyer Cars, Andover; S G Pollitts, Exeter and Leisure World Subaru, Brompton On Swale
Subaru sold 2,670 cars in 2017, a 26% decline on the 2016 performance when 3,612 cars were sold, according to SMMT figures.
Chris Graham, the recently appointed managing director for Subaru UK, said: “We’re proud to welcome all of our new franchisees to the Subaru UK network.
“This year is set to be an exciting period for Subaru and we’re looking forward to bringing all of our dealer partners along for the ride.”
Claire Ketchion, group dealer development manager for Subaru UK, said: “We recognise that to help Subaru thrive in the UK, we need to strengthen our network with franchises that understand what the brand is about. The four new dealer openings follow the launch of the all-new Subaru XV in 2018, which was awarded the Euro NCAP Best In Class title for the Small Family Car segment and achieved the best overall score for child occupancy safety earlier this year.
