Scuderia Cameron Glickenhaus are continuing on their programme of upgrades for the SCG 007 ahead of the planned full-season single car entry for the 2022 FIA WEC, with a second car set to be requested for an entry at the Le Mans 24 Hours.
Aside from the engine programme principally required to adapt to the new-for-2022 TOTAL 100% renewable fuel that will roll-out in the WEC and ELMS this coming season, the team are also installing ‘brake-by-wire’ systems on both cars, this part of the development programme set to address the issues that the car suffered at Monza (but not at Le Mans).
In addition, in a move typical of the car-culture crazy Glickenhaus family, the #709 SCG 007 made a special guest appearance at the RACECars and Coffee event at Roasted Record in Stuart Florida on 18 December (pictured top and below).
