Ineos Grenadier Might Make its Stateside Debut in 2023 – Off Road Xtreme

British automotive startup, Ineos is entering the automotive industry with its new offering- the Grenadier. The Land Rover Defender-inspired off-roader will be sold globally through agreements signed with various companies in the Asia Pacific, Europe, Africa, and the Middle East.

In the British market, the deliveries of the new off-roader are expected to start in July next year, but enthusiasts in the U.S. might have to wait a bit longer. The company’s all-new 4X4 might make its stateside debut by 2023. According to industry reports, Ineos is currently reviewing dealer networks in the U.S. The company hopes to partner with more than just one group.

Ineos Grenadier Highlights:

  • Ladder frame chassis
  • Multi-link suspension
  • Panhard rod suspension link

The off-roader is powered by a BMW-sourced 3.0-liter inline-six motor, which is mated to a ZF-sourced eight-speed automatic gearbox. The company will also offer a diesel variant of the Grenadier, but we do not expect this model to make its way stateside.

Ineos partnered with Bosch Car Services to allow Grenadier owners to find repairs and maintenance at any one of the Bosch centers. Additionally, Ineos might offer Grenadier with a five-year or 6000-mile limited warranty. The off-roader will be produced in Austria and will begin rolling out next summer to the customers in Europe.

In the UK, the SUV will retail for $64,544 (£48,000). It is likely that the US market will also get a similar pricing structure. Ineos claims that almost 75,000 customers have registered interest in its upcoming off-roader. For others, the company will start accepting preorders on October 14.
