Johnsons Cars has acquired Trust Group UK for an undisclosed sum.
The deal takes in Skoda and Volkswagen dealerships in Redditch, Stourbridge and Wolverhampton.
In addition, for the first time, it adds three Trade Parts Specialists (TPS) to the group in Birmingham, Coventry and Wolverhampton, providing a one stop shop for original equipment parts for all Volkswagen Automotive Group brands .
In a statement on its website it said: “It’ll be business as usual across the showrooms and TPS Parts centres.
“We will continue to operate under the valued Trust Group name with the respective hardworking teams joining Johnsons Cars.
The deal will send Johnsons Cars shooting up the Motor Trader Top 200 Dealer Groups. Johnsons is rated in 39th place with annual turnover of £457.2m and Trust Group is rated 138 with turnover of £78.8m.
