Lamborghini: “Someone who buys a car over 2 million euros wants to be sure that it is a good investment”

Between the Covid virus and the war in Ukraine, we should not miss 2021, a narrow window of opportunity for auto manufacturers. This is what Lamborghini has achieved, which is posting record results in terms of both volumes and value. The Sant’Agata Bolognese bull delivered 8,405 vehicles over twelve months, or 13% more over one year, a commercial performance boosted by its Urus SUV (5,021 units). It is above all a level that is beginning to approach that of Ferrari (11,155 sales in 2021)… until Maranello also raises the bar with its Purosangue SUV?

The firm, which continues to capitalize on its 100% thermal and atmospheric engines, increased its turnover by 19% over one year, to 1.95 billion dollars. And was more profitable than ever, with an operating margin of 20.2% – double that of 2018. Over one year, Lamborghini improved its operating profit by 49%, to 393 million dollars. Enough to approach its $1.8 billion electrification program more calmly.
