The Sunday Times Rich List has revealed the UK’s most affluent dealers.
Geoffrey Warren, owner of Car Giant, topped the list of those who’s wealth comes from car sales, with a worth of £2.552bn, up £1.107bn from last year to be ranked 68th (2021: 148).
Lady Philomena Clark and family, owners of Scottish Group Arnold Clark also saw an increase in worth, up £126m to £1.267bn, and ranked 135th (2021: 151)
Entrepreneur Lord Edmiston, who built up the IM group of companies that import a number of car brands, was estimated to have a net worth of £763m, according to the listing, a fall of £134m on last year. His ranking fell to 216th from 181st in 2021.
