A Brief On Glickenhaus And Its Cars
The Glickenhaus team has churned out popular models so far: the SCG 003, the SCG 004, the SCG Boot, the SCG 006, and the SCG 007. The 003 are racing cars designed with F1 models in mind. The 004 is street legal and reasonably subtle compared to the 003.
The Boot is an SCG exclusive for the annual Mexican off-road motors race held on the Baja California Peninsula. The 006 is a throwback to cars from the early to the mid-20th century, while the SCG 007 is the brand’s entry for LMH (Le Mans Hypercar). Next up from the house of SCG is something extraordinary.
The Glickenhaus 008 Is Finally Here
The team at Scuderia Cameron Glickenhaus has its unique way of working. They invest a lot of time and effort in research and development before launching a new model. For instance, the SCG 008 was announced officially in March 2020.
A year later, the brand revealed minor details about the car. Now, more than two years later, SCG has announced the starting price of the Glickenhaus 008. The price announcement hints toward an imminent launch in the coming months, as soon as November, after the Glickenhaus team races the 008.
