The fastest selling electric vehicles (EVs) are selling five times faster than the slowest selling EVs.
The fastest new EV car to retail in June on Auto Trader was the Hyundai IONIQ 5, which sold in 21 days followed by the MG5 and Tesla Model 3, both selling in 22 days.
Also in the top five fastest selling cars were the MNI Electric and Kia Nero, selling in 23 and 24 days, respectively.
The remaining cars in the Top 10 listing were the Tesla Model Y (26 days), Vauxhall Corsa (26), Skoda Enyaq (26), Mustang MACH-E (27) and another car from MG, the ZS (28).
We also looked at the slowest selling EVs on UK forecourts. Here desirability, price, how they compare with the competition and the stage in their life cycle all play a part in explaining why it takes almost four months to shift some cars.
The Audi e-tron was the slowest EV to sell on Auto Trader in June, taking 113 days to shift. This was followed by the Lexus UX 300 e, which took 87 days to sell.
The other cars in the top five were the Smart forfour, Mazda MX-30 and Vauxhall Mokka, which took 80, 74 and 72 days to sell, respectively.
We also looked at the most viewed new and used EVs on Auto Trader in June. Viewing the top five new cars, the MG ZS was in top place attracting almost 30,00 views, followed by the Kia Niro, Mustang MACH-E, BMW iX, Nissan Ariya and Toyota bZ4X.
And finally, to the most viewed used cars. Here, way out in front, was the Tesla Model 3, which was viewed over 130,000 times followed by the Porsche Taycan, Audi e-tron, Porsche Taycan, Tesla Model S and Model X.
