The brake manufacturer Knorr brake has found a successor for its CEO Jan Mrosik. the former Daimler– and Mitsubishi
Manager Marc Llistosella (55) will become CEO on January 1st, the MDax company announced on Thursday. The Supervisory Board decided this unanimously.
A man for the difficult cases
Marc Llistosella is considered a reorganizer, a man for the difficult cases. Until 2018 he was still head of Mitsubishi Fuso Truck & Bus and head of Daimler Trucks in Asia. In recent years, Llistosella has been a founder and investor in start-ups, including Vaionic, a developer of electric drives, and Sweden’s Einride, which develops electric and self-driving commercial vehicles. He is to retain his positions on the advisory and supervisory boards of these two companies.
“So he knows the world of a global technology group just as well as the agile spirit of a start-up,” said Reinhard Ploss (66), Chairman of the Knorr- Bremse Supervisory Board. Llistosella should lead the company back to its old strength. Of the stock price
from Knorr- Bremse had recently fallen sharply.
Knorr- Bremse manufactures braking systems and other systems for rail and commercial vehicles. The company has around 30,500 employees in more than 30 countries.
